16/07/2018
Bellavista Barry Activity team arranged a trip to St Fagan’s on 16th July. St Fagan’s is one of Europe’s leading open–air museums and Wales’s most popular heritage attraction. St Fagans museum shows the history and buildings of the Welsh people. Our trip was blessed with glorious sunshine as we walked around in the sunshine looking at the national history as well wild life .We also spent time to enjoy the beauty of the old post office, shops and cottages and later we went to the bakery and brought some homemade bread and scones. Our Residents gain an insight into the rich heritage and culture of Wales, and the Welsh language can be heard in daily use amongst craftsmen and interpreters. We all enjoyed looking around St Fagan’s as
well as stopping off at the bakery to buy homemade bread and scones which was all very tasty. At the end of the trip we all gathered together top enjoy
refreshments of hot drinks and cake to share our thoughts on the trip before returning home to Bellavista Barry
